3-4 Large Vidalia Onions
3-4 T Olive Oil
2 T Garlic Powder
3 Large Eggs
2 T Potato Starch or Cake Meal
3 T Onion Soup
Pre-heat oven to 350F.
Peel and slice onions into half-moon-shaped slices. Add oil to the frying pan and then put onions in the pan. Saute until browned and then add garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Once browned, take out of oil and put in the mixing bowl.
Add eggs, flour, potato starch, or cake meal, soup mix, and mix it all together.
Coat/spray 9x12 pan with oil and pour in batter. Bake until golden, approximately 45 mins.
