Brisket & Lima Beans


4 lb. Brisket

1 lb. Lima Beans

3 Tbs. Brown Sugar

3 Tbs. Ketchup

1Tsp. Dry Mustard

1 T Lawry’s Season Salt

1-2 T Paprika

2 T Garlic Salt

French Dressing

1-2 Onions, grated



Pre-heat oven to 350°.

Mix all ingredients and put on bottom of roaster. Season meat with garlic salt, Lawry's salt, dry mustard and 1 T paprika. Set on top of ingredients in roaster. Pour French dressing on top of meat and grate some onion on top of the dressing, then sprinkle brown sugar on top of that. Place potatoes around the meat and sprinkle them with paprika. Fill the roaster with water to cover the meat half way up. Bake for 3 1/2 to 4 hours until meat is soft. Add more water if you see it is drying out during cooking.
