Brisket with Mushrooms


6lb or more Beef Brisket

!-2 T Garlic Powder

1 T Black Pepper

1-2 T Worcester Sauce

1 C Water

1 C Ketchup

1 C Brown Sugar

1 Pkg Dried Onion Soup


Pre-heat oven to 350F.

In large roaster, season Brisket with garlic, black pepper and worcester sauce. Wrap in heavy aluminum foil.

Put mushrooms, water, ketchup, brown sugar and onion soup in a saucepan and bring to boil. Simmer for 25 minutes. Pour over meat.

Cook for 3 hours for a 6lb. roast.

Cool before cutting. Cut across the grain.
