Brisket with Mushrooms


6lb or more Beef Brisket

!-2 T Garlic Powder

1 T Black Pepper

1-2 T Worcester Sauce

1 C Water

1 C Ketchup or BBQ Sauce

1 C Brown Sugar

2 Pkg Dried Onion Soup 

2T Shiracha Sauce

2 Cans (13 oz or more) of Mushrooms


Pre-heat oven to 350° F. 

In large roaster, season Brisket with garlic, black pepper and worcester sauce. 

Put mushrooms, water, ketchup, brown sugar and onion soup in a saucepan and bring to boil. Simmer for 25 minutes. 

Pour over meat. Wrap in heavy aluminum foil. 

Cook for 3-4 hours for a 6lb. roast. 

Cool before cutting. Cut across the grain.
